3rd Annual BCG Awards Finalists Announced!

BCG AwardsBlackCelebrityGiving.com™ is proud to announce the finalists for the 3rd Annual BCG Awards, Honoring Those Who Give Back! Dawned in 2011 from a strong desire to honor everyday people, doing extraordinary things around the world, BCG is now accepting nominations for the 3rd Annual BCG Awards.

Last year, the 2nd annual awards yielded over 1,200 nominations for organizations, celebrities, causes and everyday people doing extraordinary things from across the United States and Canada. With more than 35,000 votes cast for the 12 winners that included Celebrity Giver of the Year Chanita Foster and the Nonprofit of the Year New York Based Young Women of Color HIV/AIDS Coalition were announced on January 21st, 2013. As with last year’s awards, the BCG Awards are slated to generate hundreds of thousands of impressions across the web as readers will nominate and vote online through a custom social media platform, developed exclusively for BCG by Contest.Is. Voting for the 3rd Annual BCG Awards will begin on Monday, January 6th and run for two weeks, readers will be able to read all nominations and make an informed choice when casting your vote. As keeping with tradition the winners will be announced on the 2014 MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 20th!

Each region will have five finalists, the organization with the most votes in each region will be named Best Nonprofit in that region, all finalists in these categories will compete for the National Nonprofit of the Year Award to win a grant for their cause, this grant is awarded to the nonprofit with the most votes.
